Lipids (fats)

Are fatty substances that the cell can be used in various forms. Some are as reserve material with high potential energy and a new form found in fatty points, but can also be linked to any other substances in the cytoplasm and build cellular structures. They can be as active substances.

Lipids are not soluble in water, but with heterogeneous regarding specific building, known as emuilzion.

Lipids are insoluble in certain organic solvents such as Benzene, alcohol, chloroform etc.

According to the chemical composition of lipids are divided into two groups.
